Hackathon Digitale Dienstverlening Gemeenten Op 29 november a.s. organiseert de Publieksbalie (een projectgroep van traineeorganisatie DisGover) de hackathon Digitale Dienstverlening Gemeenten in de Openbare Bibliotheek van Amsterdam. Uitonderzoek is gebleken dat een groot knelpunt in de digitale dienstverlening van gemeente te maken heeft met de verwachtingen van inwoners en ondernemers. Ze willenop de hoogte gehouden worden van wat er met hun melding, klacht of vraag gebeurt. Op dit gebied is er voor gemeenten nog ruimte voor verbetering! Tijd voor verandering Wij geloven dat door middel van een multidisciplinaire aanpak eengamechangerbedacht kan worden om de digitale dienstverlening van gemeenten aan inwoners en ondernemerste veranderen. In de vorm van een hackathon Een hackathon is een evenement waarbij verschillende teams in korte tijd met elkaar de strijd aan gaan om een zo creatief en innovatief mogelijke oplossing te vinden voor het aangereikte vraagstuk. Als deelnemers met diverse achtergronden, expertisesen perspectieven samenwerken, kunnen ze samen tot een oplossingkomen. Le HACKATH’YON est un évènement départemental qui a pour but de réaliser des projets citoyens grâce au numérique. Cette 5ème édition se tiendra du 28 novembre au 5 décembre 2019 à LA ROCHE SUR YON.

This three-day coding event, which starts on Monday, 25 November 2019, is a unique opportunity for you to work closely with IT and risk management experts from the ECB and other EU central banks. Students who have knowledge of or experience in data masking, machine learning, or developing application programming interfaces (APIs) or front-end user interfaces are encouraged to apply to take part. You will work as part of a team to develop a cutting-edge dashboard designed to monitor financial risks. Teams will present solutions to one of the four challenges set out below. On the final day of the event a panel of judges will decide which team has produced the best solution to each of the challenges.

The official hackathon of the Technical University of Munich will take place from 22nd until 24th of November. Face challenges provided by renowned international tech companies, meet new and like-minded people, and win great prizes!

inGenius is an annual 24-hour hackathon hosted by PESU-ECC, Bangalore for college students. Returning after seven successful iterations, inGenius 2019 is bigger than ever! Our Open Hack theme allows participants to bring their best ideas forward and showcase their passion for technology. This year we are also proud to launch GirlGeeksHack, a 24-hour hackathon in association with IEEE Computer Society Bangalore to promote Women in Computing (WiC). This event aims to empower women to participate in and contribute to the evolution of computer science, and encourage leadership. GGH will be open to people from all walks of life, on the condition that minimum 50% ofeach team be composed of women. At this 2-day event students from grades 9-12, will get to learn how to use MIT App Inventor and then put this knowledge to usein small groups tocreate an app to solve any problem they see fit. Unlike other Hackathons, on the morning of the first day, there will be a Bootcamp for all of the students, both experienced and not, on how to use MIT App Inventor, after which they will be set free to work in their groups. On the second day, students will finish creating their apps, which they will then present to a panel of judges from the app development and other science fields. There will be prizes for the winning teams. NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! All student grades 9-12 welcome to participate!
