The Challenges Passenger rail: How can we offer a seamless travel experience for everyone? How can we bring life to stations? Rail freight: How can we show the benefits of rail freight over road freight? How can we provide the most accurate information about rail freight capacities? Prizes The winning teams will win: A cash prize from the 10,000€-prize pool An invitation to showcase their solution at European Year of Rail events The possibility of working with Siemens Mobility or other Shift2Rail Members to further develop their winning idea for market deployment Who can join? This program focused on transforming the future of GNSS technology. Startups and small businesses working in the field of Global Navigation Satellite Systems were invited to participate, develop and innovate use cases with tech stack from Deutsche Telekom and Swift Navigation. 12 startups from various industries as #Automotive, #Agriculture, #Devices, #Rail, #SharedMobility and #Robotics were given the Precise Positioning technology and they created innovative usecases in their areas of expertise. After 2.5 months in the program, lets see what they’ve been working on!
