Def Hacks() is hackathon hosted by high school students, and is only for high school students. A 24-hour hackathon that will aim to help students discover and learn something new, with workshops and mentors. The two themes for this hackathon are related to finding an issue in your community and making something to help combat the problem. It can either be for preventing bullying and/or stress at school or building something to make your city more efficient and intelligent. So come work on innovative projects which have the potential to improve or influence people’s lives. Try to build a hack that people can use, enjoy, and potentially scale. Bring your laptop, mouse, and any snacks that you prefer. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner is included during the event. If you're planning on sleeping, bring a sleeping bag, pillow, and toothbrush.

This is event is aimed to prepare you for the Lyme Innovation hackathon taking place on June 17-19. An afternoon of ignite speeches, team building, and learning! You will hear from Lyme disease experts and learn about unique challenges facing the field of Lyme disease. These complex problems include prevention, diagnostics, treatment, and rehabilitation. Time will be dedicated to networking, sharing ideas, and initiating team formation for the main hackathon event. Prizes will be awarded to individuals and teams with promising ideas!

The HR Hackathon is the 48 hours event where HR Professionals and IT Developers work together in teams to brainstorm and create meaningful HR Software.

Join this hackathon to make Cystic Fibrosis physiotherapy fun! A full weekend to Hack Attack for Lung Health by creating games that transform Cystic Fibrosis physio into a fun, engaging experience. You will be hacking CF devices to turn them into inputs to video games. Amazing prizes will up for grabs and great people from the games industry to work with. The event is part of a new prime time science series for BBC2 called Big Life Fix (working title), so you could also appear on TV! You can for sure not miss this opportunity if you are a Game Designers, 3D Artists, Animators, Games Developers, Technologists, Programmers, Creatives, and or CF experts!

This 54-hour Hackathon will give early career exposure and cross-disciplinary design experiences to ICT, Design, Business and Health students, informed and shaped by experienced clinicians, consumers and carers on contemporary healthcare issues. The challenge will be to design 1st generation concepts and technical prototypes to address a healthcare problem with targeted use of contemporary technology. Participants will develop a strong working understanding of the challenges, constraints and possibilities in an intensive crucible of health and tech curiosity.

This hackathon aaims to help those in need! Former refugees who have already settled in Australia will participate in the event to help teams deeply understand problems and challenges faced by new settlers and co-design solutions. With over 20million refugees worldwide fighting for their lives it’s clear that the current crisis is one of the most urgent issues of our time. Therefor, What Design Can Do (WDCD), the UN Refugee Agency and the IKEA Foundation have grouped together to create ‘The What Design Can Do Refugee Challenge’, A global design competition that calls on the creative community to come up with game-changing ideas for accommodating, connecting and integrating refugees. The Liverpool Collective invite designers, creative thinkers and imaginative trouble-shooters to join this day of collaboration to show the world what can be created with a bit of ‘Scouse Nous’. Come and meet Some ‘Proper Boss Lads’, grab a coffee and Spend the day networking with some of the city’s best. The winning idea from the hackathon will be entered into the official competition, the five best entries of which will receive up to 10,000 euros and more importantly help to turn their idea into a reality.
