List of hackathons about health in 2016

The Accessible Music Hackathon is featuring Bela, a new embedded platform for low-latency interactive audio. The goal of the hackathon will be to create new musical instruments accessible to disabled musicians. Hacks could produce complete working instruments, or a demonstration of a concept or sensor which could be used in a variety of instruments. There will be prizes for the best hacks addressing these challenges, and best overall instrument.

The Herothon hackathon invited anyone between 18 and 30 to come and build on products that will have the potential to solve some of the world’s problems. The themes include Education, Transportation, Government, Energy, Health, and Currency. The winning team will have the opportunity to pitch to over a 100 investors on Draper University Pitch Day March 2nd, 2016.
