Middle and high school students! Step up to the App Challenge! Absolutely, positively no coding required! The Verizon Innovative App Challenge is a nationwide contest in which you are challenged to develop concepts for mobile apps that solve a problem in your community. It’s a unique, hands-on learning program that teaches collaboration, critical thinking, problem solving, and entrepreneurship, as well as STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) skills and coding. It builds on your excitement about technology and aims to equip you with skills you need to succeed in the jobs of the future.

Are you passionate about helping end violence against women? Come help identify ways to advance solutions for reporting and eliminating violence against women at ChimeHack 3, a two-day hackathon that will bring together hackers along with issue experts and non-profit leaders to create tech-driven solutions focused on gender equality.

All women in technology—from astronauts to designers to biohackers to makers to everyone in between—collaborate to share ideas, support each other and grow the tech community.
