This is a student hackathon hosted by experienced members of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Mining, Oil and Gas Club to deliver innovative solutions to key ‘real world’ challenges and questions facing the mining and oil and gas industries in Australia and globally. University students from a range of disciplines are all welcome to come, form collaborative teams and work on new ideas and solutions to three industry challenges. You will identify new opportunities and trends in the design of hotels, define new concepts to improve the user experience, make the collaboration and decision making processes more effective, clarify needs of each of the agents involved and improve the operations of hotels, reduce maintenance and increase the life of the equipment. During the hackathon participants will work with their own tools and approaches from design services.
