Join Hack the Burgh, a hackathon where students will come together, team up and collaborate to build cool stuff with data and special challenges provided. Also home to the top Uni Werewolf team in the UK! It will be a 24 hour long programming event where hundreds of passionate students will work on innovative applications. It's a fantastic opportunity to meet new people, learn from mentors, and make cool stuff. This hackathon is very beginner friendly. Everybody is there to help each other and have fun!

For this edition of Apps For Ghent you will focus on geodata and maps. There are two types of participants. One to be taking part in the "from scratch hackaton", where you will have to start with nothing and produce a tangible, working (web)application or visualisation by noon, and the other one to be taking part in the "showcase" where you will prepare ahead, continue to work during the hackathon and pitch your concept, prototype, idea to the jury. You may also attend the afternoon program as a visitor and see what the contestants have come up with.

Hackathon Trieste is a 27-hour marathon non-stop in which teams of programmers, designers and artists will think of and realize services (web and app) that can improve the functioning of the city and the quality of life in Trieste. All teams will be provided with data sets and access to databases relating to mobility and environment.

This is Europe's first ever Law Tech Hackathon ‘coding for good’. Hackney Community Law Centre (HCLC) is providing free and independent legal advice and representation to people living, working or studying in the London Borough of Hackney and neighbouring boroughs. The core challenge for this Hackathon will be to address that 50% of clients drop out after one meeting, for a variety of cultural, social and language reasons. The eHUB Hackathon will revolve around building technological solutions to issues ranging from business needs to social conundrums. This is a hackathon for Super Tomorrow , the event frequency Schools media dedicated to digital screens and technology. This event is dedicated to the issue of youth housing in the city of Lyon. You will get the opportunity to for teams of young designers, developers, and designers and invent solutions that will improve access to housing for young people in the city of Lyon meeting challenges including: How to fight against stereotypes of neighborhoods, how to better integrate in choice of accommodation and hidden rental costs, how to better match supply and demand in social housing, and how to address the issues of transport and mobility in the search criteria. In short, a 48h of creative hackathon that will make you "like" the search of houses!

This is a hackathon organized rganised by the British Council, HackManchester, Manchester Digital Laboratory (MadLab), T2F, and Code for Pakistan, for Karachiites to come together and think creatively to address issues in Karachi's society using design and technology.
