Techies and creative types in and around London! If you're interested in innovating to help the disabled, then Loughborough University London invites you to participate in Hacking Disability. You'll be challenged to create an innovative solution to a pressing issue facing physically challenged people -- for example How do you change a lightbulb if you use a wheelchair? Come and join a team, come up with an awesome idea, and pitch it to a panel of judges to win recognition.

DCI (Digital Career Institute) is hosting their 3rd hackathon, where the students of DCI and anyone else are welcomed to join and hack something together, get to know each other and make some new friends. In the morning teams selected ideas will shortly present their projects and form a group with the complementary skills to build the projects together during the day. At the end of the day they will present what they have hacked together to everyone else and win a surprising prizes.The skill set can be from beginner to advanced levels, therefore please don’t worry if you think you are not a right fit for this event. You can even courageously write a “Hello World!” program in JavaScript and present it in front of the crowd and get into the culture of hackers. Since our 6th batch of the Web Development will have their last campus day, they will present their project and receieve certificates as well. 
Symphony Innovate 2018 Hackathon: London, New York, Paris

Hack the day away. Join talented developers for a day of innovation. Network with others in your industry to learn best practices for innovative workflow solutions. Symphony will be hosting three hackathons on Thursday, September 27, prior to its Innovate conference, in: London  New York Paris Teams of 1-5 individuals will to work together to create a bot, app, or integration that will supercharge business and improve workflows. Team members must register individually for the hackathon. Two winners will be selected per region. Teams will be judged based on innovation, workflow, and potential business impact. Winners will be presented with awards on stage at the end of the day. Award categories & prize details to follow.  All winning teams & their developments will also be featured at Innovate on October 3, 2018 at the Conrad Hotel in New York. To participate in any of the hackathons, individuals must: Register all individuals in your team by September 21, 2018. Attend or view the one-hour webinar prior to the event. (Webinar details to follow).  Day of: Provide your own hardware (laptops, chargers, etc.). Internet will be provided. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be provided. Many of these areas have no surface air-quality monitoring networks and rely mainly on modelling and satellite information. Besides air pollution, there are other aspects of atmospheric composition that can affect health, eg UV radiation, which strongly depends on the stratospheric ozone layer.
