BelHacks is a hackathon; a fun, overnight coding event where people can team up and create amazing projects. You have 24 hours to create your idea. You don't have to be an expert coder - beginners are welcome too! Belhacks is organized by and for highschoolers aimed at boosting student involvement in computer science and visibly impacting students. We want this event to be accessible to all students, so the event is completely free.

What is the Teens Learning Code Hackathon Program? Equipping the leaders of tomorrow with the skills and experience to succeed in the future of innovation. Not to mention, have a ton of fun along the way. Pack your laptop and an open mind - and join us for this fun, action packed Hackathon where we’ll tackle important social issues, chosen by YOU! With the hands-on, social and collaborative learning approach we’re known and loved for, Hackathons provide a fun, collaborative and intensive learning experience that introduces teen girls ages 13-17 years old to the world of solving real-world problems with technology. This special event aims to reinforce the strength in diverse teams and that anyone can contribute to solving problems -whether you are just starting out with coding or have many programming languages under your belt. The experience brings together technical workshops (HTML & CSS, UX/UI), work sessions, unplugged activities and industry insights where you're able to learn as a group in a collaborative, social, friendly and supportive environment. Teens will be inspired by the amazing instructors and mentors, and will learn the technological and creative skills necessary for this ever-changing digital generation. By the end of the Hackathon, you’ll have learned important skills to help you think critically, prepare you for the future in technology and contribute to the Web in a positive way. Extending beyond technology, participants will develop critical thinking skills and empathy by learning how to identify, frame and unpack problems to tackle. What can I expect? Day 1 -​ 6:00pm to 9:30pm Learners will spend the evening learning to pitch and frame the problems they’d like to solve with their teams. Day 2 - 9:00am - 8:30pm Day 2 will be jam-packed with technical and non-technical workshops, and plenty of time for collaborative work sessions. Learners will produce products that they’re proud of and have the opportunity to show off their work. Families and friends are invited to join us in the evening, where the participants will pitch and present their final projects to the crowd! Workshop Dates: This workshop will be run over the course of two days:  Who is this for? Our Teens Learning Code workshops and events offer female-identified, trans, and non-binary youth ages 13-17 opportunities to take action on ideas that will shape our future while leveraging the power of technology. Our learning experiences are much more than learning how to code. Our experiences empower teens to learn problem solving skills, how to turn ideas into reality, exposure to what a future in technology could look like, and much more. Prerequisites: None! Meld je aan voor de hackathon ‘Jouw kracht in de zorg. Hack je eigen toekomst'! Hoe beleef je meer plezier in je werk? Deze vraag staat centraal tijdens de hackathon ‘Jouw kracht in de zorg. Hack je eigen toekomst’ op 29 en 30 november, een initiatief van de Arbeidsmarktagenda 2023 ‘Aan het werk voor ouderen’. Durf jij de uitdaging aan en hack jij straks jouw oplossing naar meer werkplezier?  Achter het stuur van je eigen leven Hoe creëer je meer autonomie in je werk, waardoor je meer je eigen keuzes kunt maken en beslissingen durft te nemen? Uit onderzoek blijkt dat verpleegkundigen en verzorgenden die een hoge mate van autonomie ervaren, meer bevlogen en betrokken zijn en minder snel geneigd zijn de zorgsector te verlaten. De werknemer zit dan meer achter het stuur en de werkgever biedt daarvoor de ruimte. Maar hoe biedt je deze ruimte als werkgever en hoe benut je je kansen als werknemer? Dat ontdek je tijdens de hackathon ‘Jouw kracht in de zorg. Hack je eigen toekomst’ op 29 en 30 november. Samen met 100 zorgprofessionals bouw je aan een toekomstbestendige ouderenzorg. Miljoen gelukkige medewerkers in de zorg! Voormalig CDA-Kamerlid Sabine Uitslag trapt de hackathon op 29 november af met een inspirerende presentatie. Uitslag is van oorsprong verpleegkundige en gezondheidswetenschapper en zette zich in de Tweede Kamer in voor meer inspraak van verpleegkundigen en verzorgenden op bestuursniveau binnen zorginstellingen. Op dit moment is Sabine Uitslag Chief Inspiration Officier Werkplezier bij FWG Progressional People. Haar missie? Minimaal 1 miljoen gelukkige medewerkers in de zorg in Nederland!  ‘What the hack’ is een hackathon? Een hackathon is een wedstrijd waarin teams in beperkte tijd een oplossing bedenken voor een vraagstuk. Kortgezegd is het een uit de hand gelopen brainstormsessie, een ontdekkingstocht, waarin de deelnemers samen onderzoeken hoe je meer autonomie creëert. De winnaar wordt bepaald door een vakjury, maar ook de deelnemers hebben invloed op welke concepten verder worden uitgewerkt. Met behulp van een interactieve game ga je zelf je eigen team vormen, waar jij kunt uitblinken in je eigen talent! Wij zorgen voor een uitdagend programma, waarin we je o.a. meenemen in de kracht van verhalen vertellen, zodat jij en je team jullie idee door middel van storytelling kunnen presenteren aan de jury.  Waarom mag je dit niet missen? Samen gaan we nieuwe manieren bedenken om het werk anders aan te pakken, zodat je meer plezier beleeft op de werkvloer. Je maakt kennis met een inspirerende en nieuwe manier van samenwerken en je gaat met experts aan de slag. Tijdens deze tweedaagse hackathon staat jouw kracht in de zorg centraal. Met lekker eten, een inspirerende omgeving en een comfortabele overnachting wordt er goed voor jou gezorgd.  Wie zoeken we? Wij zijn op zoek naar mensen met hart voor de zorg! Je hoeft dus geen 'techneut' te zijn. Integendeel, het gaat om pragmatisch en creatief denken en daar helpen we je bij. Of je nu werkt als zorgprofessional (zoals verzorgende, verpleegkundige, helpende), bestuurder, leidinggevende of stafmedewerker, maar ook als je een student in de zorgsector bent, jij bent van harte welkom. Internal HR and business practitioners in and around Chicago! If you are planning to attend the DisruptHR Chicago information exchange, then be sure to sign up to participate in the HR Hackathon. You'll be asked to design an innovative solution to a challenge submitted by the DisruptHR Chicago community. The challenge for this event is "How Might We... re-imagine support for first-time managers as they make the transition from individual contributors to people leaders?”
