Lectures and panel discussions provide topics for discussion with coffee and cold drinks.

If you are passionate about applying smart city concepts to every municipality and city in the country, then Hackerstolz invites you to participate in the SmartCountry Hacks (Hackathon) at the Smart Country Convention in Berlin. You'll be challenged to design a prototype that delivers digital citizen services to enable a more sustainable and social life in towns, cities, and municipalities.

The event will bring together 150 students to Durham to participate in a 24hr hackathon with multiple themes. It takes place over the weekend of the 17th and 18th of November 2018.

Linde and Intel invite you to take part at the Linde.Intel.AI.Challenge, a Hackathon focussed on the task of solving the Future of Smart Logistics with Machine Learning and AI. You will be challenged to find patterns and similarities in gas tanks behaviour and create a prediction model for a timeframe of a day or an hour. The data for this task will be based on real-life data from a real location. Finally, you will need to create a UI/UX that makes the prediction understandable for the human controller and will instill confidence in the prediction model. You will use Machine Learning and basically train an AI.
