Design enthusiasts in New England. The Babson Graduate Design Thinking Club invites you to participate in the weekend-long Weekend Design Thinking Sprint 2020. This event will cover the whole spectrum of dsign from problem identification to prototyping. Come with a team of 3-5 people, or join one at the event. On friday, you'll be given a design prompt and you'll have from Friday to Sunday to think up and prototype an amazing solution to the prompt. Come and collaborate for recognition and cool prizes.

Die aktuellen Empfehlungen bzgl. Veranstaltungen gerade auch hier in der Region Ludwigshafen ändern und verschärfen sich täglich, so dass wir uns entschlossen haben, die Veranstaltung vom 27.03.-29.03.2020 im Freischwimmer Ludwigshafen abzusagen. Mit dieser Maßnahme möchte die Hochschule als Veranstalterin sowie die Kooperationspartner ( LDEW Landesverband der Energie- und Wasserwirtschaft Hessen/Rheinland-Pfalz e.V., Energieversorgung Mittelrhein AG, Technische Werke Ludwigshafen AG und Wasserversorgung Rheinhessen-Pfalz GmbH) gewährleisten,dass alle Beteiligten und ihre Angehörigen geschützt werden. Es fällt uns sehr schwer diesen Schritt zu tun, da wir uns schon sehr auf Euch alle gefreut haben und wir ein super Wochenende miteinander erlebt hätten, bei dem bestimmt, die ein oder andere „brilliante“ (Gründungs-) Idee entstanden wäre. Zusammen mit unseren Kooperationsunternehmen und Förderern werden wir in den nächsten Wochen das weitere Vorgehen besprechen und Euch frühestmöglich über einen Ersatztermin informieren.

The ZEISS Innovation Hub teams up with KIT and invites the ambitious and creatives to delve into the world of computer vision. Experience ZEISS hardware and data right here at the ZEISS Innovation Hub @ KIT. Data experts and computer vision specialists from ZEISS as well as KIT will present real world challenges they are facing. This can be anything from virtual try-on of eyeglasses to helping a visually impaired person to navigate through and obstacle course. You're invited to participate in the Resource-Sharing in Nunavut Hackathon! You'll be challenged to develop ideas, solutions, demos that enable federal departments to embrace whole-of-government approaches and work more collaboratively while improving travel experiences for public servants not only in Nunavut but in all rural, remote and Northern regions. You'll get to address problems in one of the following three streams: Stream 1: Community-Based Awareness: How to build awareness of GOC resources for work and travel in the North? Stream 2: Internal Services Resource-Sharing: How to remove barriers to enable traveling employees to have access to vacant crown housing units, fleet vehicles, or flights?
