In two rounds, you'll be challenged to conceive and realize an awesome, innovative digital project. In Round 1, which will be virtual, you and your team will pitch your project vision with a tech stack to an expert panel. The judges will shortlist teams to proceed to Round 2, based on their project's innovation, feasibility, impact, credibility, and sustainability. Gilead Hacks for HIV Prevention is a two day, in-person hackathon in Atlanta that aims to develop solutions to increase usage of HIV PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) medications among appropriate Black individuals and Latinx men-who-have-sex-with-men (MSM). This hackathon will provide an opportunity for people with technical backgrounds to collaborate and compete to create leading technology solutions – and to transform the HIV prevention landscape. Join us June 4-5 at Loudermilk Conference Center in downtown Atlanta to compete for part of the $30k prize pool, including a $15k top award. The best solutions could also be developed by Gilead into real-world applications to help people across the country.
