To make it happens EDII-TN,Chennai and NIFT TEAInstitute, Tiruppurwith the support of AIC NIFT TEA Incubation Centre for Textiles and Apparels organize a Hackathon (TEXATHON – 2019) two days programme on23rd& 24thDecember 2019at NIFT TEA, Tirupur.

This National Hackathon will invite the young brains across the country who will attempt to solve proposed problems like: Solution for water management, agriculture, rural livelihood, healthcare, water technology, environment technology, road safety, smart city innovations etc. This will inculcate a culture of product innovation and a mindset of problem solving, where in participants must build a prototype / deploy applications/ hardware on a problem statement.

The Campus Community Hackathon brings together coders, entrepreneurs, tech evangelists, entrepreneurs, UX superheroes and data fanatics. The Challenge: Flying a Drone using Voice Commands This is a programming challenge, with the goal of creating a web application that allows the control of a Tello drone’s flight using voice commands. A voice recognition platform and a software development kit for the drone will be provided. The teams will have to code the app to interact with the drone, send commands, extract flight information from it, and display some of this flight information back into a visualization dashboard. Basic technologies involved: HTML, Javascript and CSS HTTP REST API C# (.NET) Optional: Microsoft PowerBI streaming datasets and dashboards
