Receive feedback on your application, network with potential team members and recruiters, and get more information on the newly released Audible API. The Future of Listening Hackathon will explore the world of audio storytelling using the all-new Audible API. Developers and designers are invited to re-imagine the future of listening and innovation in audio media experiences.

This ia 3-days hackathon for creative problem solving, and rapid venture development taking place at the University of Alberta. Everyone is welcome to join this event, whether you’re a student in computer science, engineering, design, or business, there will be ample opportunity to bringing a project to life! The eHUB Hackathon will revolve around building technological solutions to issues ranging from business needs to social conundrums. Participants will have the option of joining a wide range of high-potential eHUB teams. High-performing groups will have a chance to secure summer-long internships to execute on their idea with organizations such as Alberta TechWorks and the University of Alberta Senate or with start-ups including CONNECTIA, EveryRole, FitSet, Intelife, and Tablespace.

Let your creative 8-10 year old become part of a digital storytelling adventure at this kid friendly hackathon, 3-hour workshop held by the New Media students of Ryerson University. Kids ages 8-10 will be introduced to the world of art and technology by teaching them various softwares such as Pixlr, iMovie and Scratch Programming to develop an interactive story. Inspired by Ryerson University’s Story Hackathon and the META art show, kids will be put into teams and will be given a hackathon challenge, on which they will have to work together to create the most inspiring and creative storybook experience! They will also get a glimpse on how to create wonderful works of interactive art, similar to how the artists are making their pieces in the upcoming Ryerson META art show!

This is a hackathon for Super Tomorrow , the event frequency Schools media dedicated to digital screens and technology. This event is dedicated to the issue of youth housing in the city of Lyon. You will get the opportunity to for teams of young designers, developers, and designers and invent solutions that will improve access to housing for young people in the city of Lyon meeting challenges including: How to fight against stereotypes of neighborhoods, how to better integrate in choice of accommodation and hidden rental costs, how to better match supply and demand in social housing, and how to address the issues of transport and mobility in the search criteria. In short, a 48h of creative hackathon that will make you "like" the search of houses!

A Hackathon focused on building new solutions to improve the museum experience, enhancing contents, engaging audience and improving to the educational experience. A two-day event where you and your team will work with contents provided by E-SPACE partners directly and through the Technical Space to reinvent the potential of pre-existing open data resources. Participants will discuss with museum experts about audience’s and museum’s needs, from the marketing and educational perspectives, and learning valuable information on how these institutions operate.

This hackathon is hosted by the global leader in connected software experiences, Connected Lab, exploring voice-based user interfaces for Alexa, the software that supports Amazon’s Echo hardware. Alexa’s Skills enable people to interact with connected devices using just their voice. Attendees will build voice capabilities, called Skills, for Alexa. The Amazon team will provide training prior to the hackathon for using Amazon Web Services with the Alexa Skills Kit. Please bring your laptop and any other hardware devices you want to integrate with Alexa. Prizes include Amazon Echos, Amazon featuring the winners on Amazon’s developer blog, and Connected Lab offering a chance to interview for a full time position or paid internship!

The Skype University Hackathon 2016 is inviting students to come and develop tech solutions to current life problems. This is a 2 and a hlaf day event organized by StudyITin.ee in cooperation with Skype where you can turn your wild idea into something real, get help from Skype engineers, connect with other bright students, build something amazing and have fun! All communication related projects will compete for the Skype challenge prize, all projects that use Microsoft services or are built on its platform will compete for the Microsoft challenge prize, and all projects related to academic life will compete for StudyITin.ee prize!

This is a hackathon organized rganised by the British Council, HackManchester, Manchester Digital Laboratory (MadLab), T2F, and Code for Pakistan, for Karachiites to come together and think creatively to address issues in Karachi's society using design and technology. The event will be focused around researching, collaborating in a team to determine solutions for various problems, rather than prototyping products. Code Liberation invites is inviting all women who have an interest in making games, websites, apps, and/or interactive physical objects for the Women's History Month hackathon. Take inspiration and learn from some pretty boss ladies, especially in STEM such as Ada Lovelace, Grace Hopper, Mae Jemison, the ENIAC ladies, Donna Haraway just to name a few. We would like to expand on our usual game jam event to focus on a variety of different kinds of artistic endeavors, games, solutions and prototypes that come out of this two week (across two weekends) hackathon. Pick a problem to tackle, a project to explore, or a theme to be creative with. Participants will have the opportunity to hear from and talk to Intel Game Designers and Engineers and there will also be programming workshops, design, paper prototyping, and snacks!
