Interested in helping solve challenging social issues that disproportionately impact Black and Brown communities? Come participate in the Hackathon for Social Good! This hackathon brings together local stakeholders from the business, advocacy, and tech communities to solve transportation, education, and criminal justice issues that plague historically underserved and minority communities. Bring your laptops, phones and your ideas and skills to this event and help social good app developers take their innovations to the next level.

If you are interested in making a real difference in how we treat our planet, join the Hub Culture hackathon. During this event top developers and innovaters will work on technologies to benefit the UN Sustainable Developement Goals. Using technology provided by event sponsors venue host Rise, Forbes, ClimateWeekNYC, MIT Connection Science, Ven, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the American Carbon Registry. At the end of the hackathon, a 5 person panel will be awarding one skilled hacker a $1,000 prize for best technology.

Interested in how technology can help assist people with hearing impairment, or even prevent the loss of hearing? Come participate in the Hearing Focused E-Sewing/Wearable Technology Hackathon. You will have access to sewable microcontrollers and associated components that you can use to work on your own designs ideas you will be presented. There will be prizes for the best designs.

Utah County students, grades K through 12! Come and participate in the Utah County 4-H Hack.A.Thon. This is a free technology event, where you will take on challenges ranging from learning computer languages, programming robots, designing new tech spaces, 3-D printing, and much more.

Come and participate in the Citizens Open Data Hackathon in Barcelona. You'll work on challenges relevant to the city, such as the Health Services District and Cultural District. Analyze the challenges and collaborate with fellow participants to propose and develop solutions that have a clear impact on citizens' needs. The hackathon marks the start of the OpenDataLab Barcelona, part of the EU project Open4Citizens an initiative to find new uses of open data for the benefit of citizens in European cities.
