List of hackathons about non-profit in 2016

CCMC is hosting a hackathon, where young people will collaborate intensively using ICT skills to develop tools or products that will be used by local organisations (NGO's, non-profit organisations, student organisations, social enterprises, etc.). During the Hackathon, young people will learn the process of planning the project and its different elements, look for data and information about the theme of the project and analyse it, find solutions and solve problems, cope with unexpected situations during the development of the project, learn how to communicate with the 'consumer' and understand their needs while putting them into practice.

This course is for Mac users with an iOS phone only who are age 13-19 in high school.  You will "watch and learn" how to build your very own iPhone camera application with customized stickers and publish it in the iTunes app store. So bring your earphones, too!

Women techies! You're invited to participate in "Women in Tech - Leveraging our potential to exploit opportunities in Africa, and make a meaningful impact". This event is free of charge and is open to women in tech who can contribute by sharing their experiences in tech and their insights on the discussed theme. Learn about the syntax, popular libraries, workflows, and tools that will prepare you for the exciting world of data science. You'll begin by learning the fundamentals of Python and end with a working project demonstration of the skills developed in the course.
