The BASEhacks hackathon is hosted by Sara Subbanna from Silicon Valley to create an app, website, or device that solves a problem for students in high school or middle school that is marketable. This events wants to encourage computer science knowledge in high schoolers and allow students to test and compete! This will be a weekend long crash course in entrepreneurship for coders to learn about monetization, marketing, user experience and more. You will learn skills that will allow you to see your tech ideas come true, you will contribute to promoting engineering education and gender/racial diversity, and advocate entrepreneurship for young, ambitious innovators, hopefully allowing them to create a positive impact on the lives of others!

This is a creative day based around the sea. Get the opportunity to share, create, discover, and have fun with other people. It will be a memorable day! At "Oceans and Seas", you will get to propose new solutions, concepts (services, products) in areas such as shellfish, sea, tourism, beach, marine animals, ecology, pleasure, offshore energy, water sports ...

The Anti-pollution Hackathon is inviting all coders, Graphic designers, UX, and Contractors to develop a complete a product in 48 hours that will resolve modern pollution problems. This is a broad topic to code on so you are free to let your creativity go wild. Come meet the needs of private users (startups, service developers, consultants, ...) and/or public (local authorities, State services ...) and leave with products that are full of innovation!

Interested in how technology can help Africa? Come to ICT4D in Africa: Trends, Challenges and Opportunities for Lithuania -- a panel discussion about the impact of information and communication technologies (ICT) on Africa and opportunities for the Lithuanian ICT sector. Can information technologies contribute to positive changes and solve problems devastating the continent? Can businesses initiate and contribute to such changes? What kind of initiatives do the international development organizations fund? What knowledge is crucial when entering emerging markets of Sub-Saharan Africa. Answers to these and other questions will be presented by a panel of ICT4D experts gathered in Vilnius at ICT4D in Africa.

Come to this hackathon as an individual or as a team to propose and build innovative projects in the field of Smart Food and Agriculture!

Come and see the exciting outcomes from April's Abilities Hackathon, when participants from that event showcase what they have made towards making products that address problems that those with impacted abilities face! Expect to see some exciting ideas that enable the Baltimore community to solve and address problems that those with disabilities face.  Participants will present their work in one of the following four tracks: (1) Transportation/Mobility; (2) Wearables; (3) Leisure/Entertainment; and (4) Open Software/Hardware. Two teams will be rewarded a grand total of $6,000 thanks to the Mayor's Office of Information Technology.

The Juice Hackathon is a 24-hour event idea building competition and prototyping camp that will connect Bay Area's most passionate millennials, foodies, entrepreneurs, and developers with a mission to design "The Future of Juice" solutions that address some of the biggest challenges faced by companies of today. Attendees will get practice working on a team, recruitment opportunities, and an enjoyable experience. Sponsoring companies will be able to tackle problems, promote their products & brand, and work with students in the bay area.
