List of hackathons about non-profit in 2016

This is the first Hackathon organized in Cerner, Romania! Each team member will receive a T-shirt. The event will start with handing out t-shirts to each team member and an explanatory session in case anyone has any questions prior to the hacking period. Food, coffee, water, snacks will all be in the kitchen for grabs. The presentations and judging will work with votes to be gathered and calculated to reward the final winner.

TADHack and and Universidad ORT Uruguay are partnering up for a mini hackathon in the city of Montevideo. All universities and local developer are invited to participate. The event will run in Spanish, with some English translation, and pitches can be Spanish or English. This event aims to unleash the creativity and engineering excellence of Uruguay through telecom application development.

​This is a 12-hour event open to all female high school and college students to come and work on websites, games, or mobile apps that address a real world challenge. There is no prior programming experience required! programming is allowed until the day of the event. ​Projects will be judged in 4 categories: Appropriateness to Theme, User Experience & Functionality, Originality & Impact, and Technical Difficulty.

After the tragic attacks of 22 March 2016, MolenGeek decided to host a hackathon for creating applications which will optimize the emergency services in Molenbeek in case of rescue operations. The focus will lie on protection, alerting and rescuing. Join this event to to help improve the care of victims, communication, ease of logistical support, information management and optimization of the rescue organizations.
