Family Hackathon! You and your family are invited to the Family Hackathon in support of the KCJ Fund to team up and find creative ways of hacking code, and adding your family personality to an already developed project. Don’t worry, each family will be supported by a computer programmer, so you do not need to know how to code! This Hackathon is about exploring, sharing and engaging with code, mixed in with a whole lot of laughter, food and prizes!

This is a special immigration-themed design sprint workshop bringing together forward-thinking designers, hackers, and legal & policy experts to learn and apply the best practices in design thinking and hereby inspire creative new solutions to problematic issues in immigration. The three primary goals of this event are on finding creative ideas tested with real immigrants from different backgrounds, bringing together legal/policy experts, design thinkers, and technologists who wouldn’t otherwise meet, and to build a community and continue what you have started at the Startup Weekend Immigration.

This is a hackathon organized by Paige & Paxton bringing one of the best STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) educational experiences that a kid, ages 4 to 7, you can have! Children are exposed to some of the best and brightest minds in STEM to engage in 3-4 problem-solving experiences that feature the characters Paige & Paxton. Experiences are led by STEM and education experts and will range from the basis of scientific inquiry and observation, to engineering design and geometry principles.

The EmpowerHackHEALTH London is inviting all techies, researchers and creatives to come and touch millions of lives by building open source solutions for refugee women and girls! Come along to create new and innovative health solutions in a new kind of hackathon focused on inclusive design, sustainability and partnership. A, entire weekend of brainstorming, collaboration and prototyping under the guidance of NGOs, academics and on-the-ground aid workers.

This hackathon event will bring together participants enthusiastic and committed to improve the current educational offer. In 54 hours you will be sharing ideas, form teams, create a product and launch your start-up. Projects will be judged by a panel of experts at the end of weekend. Whether you have an idea matured and are looking for expert advice or you are curious and motivated to meet the educational challenge this weekend will meet all your expectations!

This is the second Sheffield Refugee Hackathon taking place at Yoomee's offices at the Electric Works. Come along to get to know the people who came last time, if you did't already and catch up on the projects created then. If there are more people, participants will be forming teams to look at some new ideas. So Bring your laptop and join this event to hack for refugees!

Join the EdTech Challenge in Support of War Child for a weekend of coding for good! Work together to come up with technical solutions for the War Child’s challenge. Teaching young people in the UK about the brutal effects of war and encourage advocacy amongst young people. You will be presented with 2 to 3 War Child problem statements from which you can chose and tackled in a team. At the end of the weekend, groups will be judged by representative of War Child, tech leaders from government and sponsors.
