This is AngelHack’s 9th Global Hackathon Series. The Challenge is Simple. AngelHack’s nonprofit arm, Code For A Cause, is challenging superhero coders to build a technology that will have a positive impact on the world, people, or environment. No matter your age or skill level, just come and create projects that are innovative, and have the potential to improve or influence people’s lives. Build a hack that people can use, enjoy, and potentially scale and get the chance to fly to Silicon Valley for the Annual Global Demo Day and participate in a week of extensive pitch training!

Chicago Women Developers, Girl Develop It, PyLadies Chicago, RailsBridge, and Women Who Code are inviting all women to this hackathon for women developers from all different skill levels and backgrounds to come together and hack on projects for local non-profits and minority-owned businesses. Projects include web sites and applications for disaster response, youth empowerment, women's health and art and family support organizations.

Lincoln Initiative Refugee Hackathon wants to leverage the power of technology to refocus the national debate on exponentially improving our refugee system and ensuring this great American tradition continues.  Hacking for the unique needs of refugees after they arrive.
