Participants will hear from Divine Mahoundi, a refugee from the Republic of the Congo, who arrived in the U.S. in 2016. She will share her story of resilience and her decision to be an agent for social change. Participating students will then work in pairs with mentors over Zoom to create a prototype smartphone app that addresses the refugee crisis.
