Kids ages of 7-13 in the Toronto area! Are you crazy about all things Space? That's great because there's a special youth program that's going to run in parallel with the 2017 NASA Space Apps Challenge - Hackathon Toronto! You're invited to come and participate in NASA's Space Apps Toronto Youth Program. You'll get to face unique challenges including robotics, space-related art and crafts, learning about electronics, coding work shops and more.

Interested in space travel? NASA has commissioned the NASA International Space Apps Challenge (ISAC) to get people around the world to collaborate on its mission directives. If you're in the Toronto area, you're invited to sign up for the 2017 NASA Space Apps Challenge - Hackathon Toronto. You'll be part of a 48-hour global collaborative hackathon focused on space exploration. The theme for Space Apps 2017 is Earth. You can select one of the following challenges: 1. The Earth and Us, 2. Planetary Blues, 3. Warning! Danger Ahead, 4. Our Ecological Neighborhood, and 5. Ideate and Create.

Coders, scientists, designers, storytellers, makers, builders, and technologists in the Bay Area! You're invited to participate in the NASA Space Apps Challenge Silicon Valley - West Coast. You'll be part of a 48-hour global collaborative hackathon focused on space exploration. The theme will be solutions for the Earth -- and challenges will involve robotics, data visualization, hardware, design, and much more! You can select one of the following challenges: 1. The Earth and Us, 2. Planetary Blues, 3. Warning! Danger Ahead, 4. Our Ecological Neighborhood, and 5. Ideate and Create.

Robotics hackers in and around Munich! You're invited to sign up and participate in Magazino's First Warehouse Robo-Battle. You'll be challenged to solve problems in Magazino's mixed reality warehouse arena. Your autonomous robot will compete in the arena against robots from the other participating teams. The winner will be the robot that solves the most problems.

Hackers in and around Kochi! You're invited to participate in Botathon Kochi, and showcase your creativity and techie skills to design and build your own Digital Assistant ChatBots using the drag and drop MyPolly Bot Builder. Compete with your peers and create your own digital assistant chatbot for Facebook Messenger, Telegram, Amazon Alexa or other messaging platforms!

Virtual reality hackers, designers, coders, as well as chemists, lab techs. Are you passionate about the use of virtual and augmented reality in the biopharma space? You're invited to participate in Hack EMD: Creating the Future of Enterprise AR & VR. You'll be challenged to come up with your own innovative idea for how AR/VR can be applied to one of the following business challenges: »Create AR tool to enable hands-free laboratories and collaboration. »Develop a solution for AR/VR collaboration in an R&D setting. »Create AR/VR customer support system for remote troubleshooting of physical lab equipment. »Improve Unity environment of a life sciences laboratory to make better VR training experience.

This April 21st, 22nd and 23rd, Northern Virginia Community College will be hosting its very own Hackathon: 2017 Innovation Hackathon! This 36 hour period will be filled with tech talks, programming, cyber security practice, food, fun and cutting edge creation. The focus of this event will be on secure coding to advocate for a more secure cyberspace and showcase the importance of cyber security to organizations, companies, and everyone else. Do not be intimidated, there are talks and challenges for every level of skill from beginner to advanced. This is a great opportunity to gain experience and learn about the booming computer science and information technology industries. Learn from working together with knowledgeable individuals, hands-on experience, and promoting cyber security through secure coding. Please bring your own rig (laptop,desktop etc), a sleeping bag (if you plan to stay overnight) and a positive attitude! Please email novahackathon@gmail.com with any questions or concerns.
