This hackathon aims to develop web and / or mobile applications based on the hundreds of Tunisian government datasets available in open data formats, many of them have been generated by the Onshor initiative.

Hackers in the San Francisco Bay Area! Are you interested in the use of technology to help mitigate the impact of traffic in the Bay Area? You're invited to participate in Hack The San Francisco Bay Area Commute -- Hackathon. This is a traffic congestion hackathon, where you will brainstorm solutions and compete for your share of a $9,000 prize pool.

A 2-month online challenge inviting developers, data scientists, marketers, designers, startups and idea generators to team up from December 10, 2018, to February 16, 2019, to develop new smart solutions for The Future of Mobility or Energy. Each challenge has a prize pool worth 7,500. The winning team from each industry challenge will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to present their prototype at the grand opening of Deloitte’s new Innovative Center, The Garage, in Amsterdam!

High school and university student techies in the Greater Toronto Area! If you're interested in how technology can be used to address urban challenges, then you're invited to participate in Urban Hacks. At this hackathon, you'll join with over 150 students from across the GTA to use Hamilton open source city data to prototype and design solutions to major urban challenges.

Hackers and techies in Seattle and the North West! If you're interested in the use of technology in the travel industry, then the Discover Global Network invites you to participate in the API Showdown: Hack Your Trip. Register with a team of up to 5 individuals -- you'll be challenged to use two or more of Discover's travel APIs to create an innovative digital solution that enhances the traveler experience! Collaborate and compete for your share of a $17,000 prize pool.

Developers, designers, open data techies! Interested in how open data can make railway travel in Germany better? You're invited to sign up and participate in the DB Open Data Community Hacking Event December 2018. You'll be introduced to open data APIs and data sets provided by Deutsche Bahn and use them to design and develop working prototypes with a 24-hour period. Collaborate and compete to win prizes for your app prototypes using data from the DB APIs.

Join us at Expedia Group and show off what you can do in 24 hours! Our student only hackathon will have plenty of free food & drinks as well as giveaways, and prizes, collectively worth over £1500. All we ask is for you to submit a CV and complete a coding exercise to prove you are up for the challenge. Please make sure to bring your own laptops and chargers and any extras you wish to experiment with. We will have coffee on-site but please feel free to bring any other caffeine kick you may want to have with you for those early hours!  We're really excited to welcome you to our offices, to show you around the place and to get coding!
